Wilberforce United FC’s Under 6 Bears teams have been recognised for his or her exceptional sporting spirit this season at last week’s FNSW awards presentation.
Wilberforce United FC Win Fair Play Award was touched by the compassion and great sportsmanship shown by this team in the course of their opposition within the MiniRoos space.
Wilberforce Under 6 Bears, from the Nepean Football Association, showed great support for his or her Under 6 Emu’s group, who are made up of largely Under 5’s and have had a very tough season being crushed often.

The Richmond coach was amazed how the Wilberforce team at one stage all fell over “like ten pins” to allow the Richmond team a chance to attain a goal.
He said all the gamers and oldsters from Wilberforce had been so optimistic and encouraging to their gamers to maintain going that it was a pleasure to play the sport in such nice spirit.
