Lift Accident: A man has died after after being caught beneath a raise cage on a property in Dural overnight.
Around 6.30pm yesterday (Thursday 16/11/2023), emergency companies were called to a property on Winnanga Rd, DURAL.
Officers connected to The Hills Police Area Command attended and had been informed a commerical carry cage that was supposed for use for eradicating branches from some trees on the property was being loaded onto a Utility.
It is understood a 72yo man became trapped under the raise being operated by relative, suffering deadly injuries.
The scene was forensically examined by specialist police, with @SafeworkNSW additionally inattendance. A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
